What to Do During Tummy Tuck Recovery
Recovery is a more challenging process in the Tummy tuck procedure. Right after tummy tuck, you should avoid bending, straining or lifting to avoid stressing your incision. Avoid standing up straight to avoid tension. It is recommended that you walk to improve your circulation but be sure to do so while in a bent over position until you recover from the surgery. Your surgeon will also give instructions as to the type of exercises that you should do and when you can start doing them. For the first six to eight weeks, you may have light to moderate activities only to avoid complications after surgery.
