What About Silver Rounds?
For those who want to buy silver coins, but do not like paying the high premiums currently found on the American silver Eagle, may I suggest silver rounds as a more affordable alternative? What exactly is a silver round? Well, it is a silver bullion piece that is minted in the familiar round shape of a coin.
The main difference between a coin and a round, is that the round is minted privately, wheras the coin is minted by a government and has legal tender. Other than that, the silver bullion is just the same at .999 fine silver, and both are 1 troy ounce in weight.
So why pay more if you don’t have to? Silver is silver, right?
