How to Setup an Interactive Classroom
Educators today are talking about the importance of having an interactive classroom. While the concept sounds complicated, it is really quite simple. An interactive classroom means the teacher and students are working together on lessons. Basic ways teachers interact with students include assigning homework and engaging in classroom activities.
The modern way to setup an interactive classroom is to install a digital whiteboard. These lighted devices are now at the center of classrooms across the nation. The days of writing on a blackboard or dry erase board are coming to an end at many schools as they are replaced with digital whiteboards. These devices are convenient, easy to use and encourage interactive lessons.
The whiteboard is typically connected to computers and a projector. Several people can be working on one lesson at the same time. You can also draw on the digital whiteboard using a special pen or your fingertip. Multiple people might be working using pens, fingertips and laptops while the teacher presents lessons.
Teachers can present a variety of media on the digital whiteboard to enhance lessons. Through the use of photos, diagrams, graphs and web pages, teachers bring lessons to life for their students. The digital whiteboard can also be used to play games and engage in a variety of classroom activities together.
The benefit of an interactive classroom is teachers find out how each student is doing before test time. This give the teacher an opportunity to offer help in the areas where it is needed before the students face an exam.
